I took the peep sight off my L46 this weekend and put on a scope. I'll probably just go with the Millet rings and use the $50 I save for a box of ammo lol. They do have inertia blocks for mounting but I don't think a. The cheapest I found were clean/used for $70. I'd like lower gloss rings and found a set of low Millets for $28 that fit the Sako dovetail. The rifle deserves a 4-16 or longer but for my shooting, even a 3-9 is adequate. Something about the gloss scopes and polished blue makes me smile. I have a like-new, older gloss Bushnell 4-12 I plan to put on it. I think this scope was just a "placeholder" supplied by the prior owner as the rifle looks too well cared for to have been sporting a banged-up scope. The Barska scope has a couple dings which were described by the seller, one of which is a shallow "Tbone" right across the tube near the turrets. I'll have to take some in-the flesh pics shortly.
